I finally found the place as beautiful to me as my A Discovery drawing!
For the first time, I spent several weeks at Prince Edward Island at my parents' house, and I visited Green Gables, the house made famous by L.M. Mongomery's books about Anne of Green Gables. The house was wonderful, but better yet were the lush surroundings, bursting with as much green as Ireland -- after a rainy June, July was beautiful. I walked along the inspiration for "Lovers' Lane," the sounds and colors filling me with peaceful pleasure. |
